Who's Blake?
Blake is my middle name. It was my grandfather's too. Most people just called him Blake. He passed when I was four, but his story still shapes how I think about work.
A farmer at heart, he loved the land even when it barely paid the bills. When a job at a big oil refinery promised better money, everyone thought it was his golden ticket. Except him. He hated it. So he quit, borrowed money, and bought more land to farm. Chasing what he loved against the odds. That spirit is why this business exists.
Who's Jonathon?
That's me. I grew up on a small farm, raised cattle, went to college for marketing. Then I bought a small-town grocery store. Sold that. Worked in financial services for a while. In 2005 I stumbled into digital marketing and never looked back.
By 2009 I was freelancing. In 2011 it grew into the small team you're reading about right now.
I talk to every new client personally. I'm the one who replies to your email or books a call with you. Not an account manager, not a salesperson. Just me.
What we believe.
-
01Your website should suit you, not the other way around.
Most small businesses don't need a flashy, complicated site. They need one that works, that's easy to update, and that doesn't fall over.
-
02Plain English wins.
If you don't understand what we're proposing, we haven't explained it well enough. Ask us anything twice.
-
03Long relationships beat shiny logos.
Our favourite measure of success is how many of our clients are still with us five, ten, fifteen years on.
-
04No surprises.
Quotes are fixed. Monthly fees are flat. We tell you up front if a job is going to cost more, before we do the work.
How we work.
Most projects start with a 20-minute call. No sales pitch, no obligation. We want to make sure we're actually a fit before either of us puts in real time. From there, we write up a short, clear proposal so you know exactly what you're getting and what it'll cost.
Once we start, you'll know what's happening. When the project's done we don't disappear. Just fire off an email and we'll get back to you. That's how it has worked for 14 years and counting.
